Popular Label Stocks
Regular adhesive stock - Commodity permanent adhesive material for inexpensive labels, this is not water resistant. Great for promotional, spirit and shipping labels. (Gloss or Matte lamination finishes available)
BOPP stock (Biaxially Oriented Polypropylene) aka plastic - Premium label material that is weather (moisture) resistant. It is recommended for items that will be exposed to oil, water or refrigeration.
Popular Lamination Finishes
Gloss Lamination - Gloss lamination produces an eye-catching shiny, glass-like appearance that enhances color and vibrancy of the ink on a label.
Matte Lamination - Matte lamination produces a subtle, more natural look that makes copy easier to read. It also softens colors so that they don’t stand out quite as much.
Popular UV Finishes
Gloss UV - Gloss UV produces a very glossy look. Similar in appearance but not as durable as gloss lamination. Gloss UV is a less expensive alternative for making you labels pop.
Matte UV - Matte UV is another popular less expensive way to protect you label. Matte UV is a flatter satin finish that doesn't show fingerprints. Matte finishes tend to absorb light rather than reflect it.
Adding a finish to your label can add durability and protection, while making it stand out. We recommend applying a lamination for all labels used for outside purposes or subject to harsh elements.
